Softies on Rails is a website dedicated to Ruby for .NET Developers.
Karl Moore has posted a good list of Structured Approaches to Improving Code Quality.
Calvin Hsia has written an interesting post on using DLINQ to Query the Northwind DB. FoxPro, SQL and VB.NET code samples are used in the examples.
Craig Boyd has some cool ideas on how to keep Visual FoxPro moving forward. Check out his post on Designing Enhancements for Visual Subclasses.
The .NET Develper’s Journal has a good article on Converting a List to an Array and back using Generics. I am trying to wrap my head around generics, so I need all of the examples I can get.
Aaron Sprague has posted a good example of how to Measure Elapsed Time.
I was listening to .NET Rocks the other day with guest Phil Haack. Great episode, I might add. One of the topics was his post on the 19 Eponymous Laws Of Software Development. I can really relate to some of the laws.
Scott Hanselman along with George Clingerman have come up with some good ways to keep developers motivated in a post titled Sharpening the Saw for Developers.
Scott Dorman shows us the Difference between Throw and Throw Ex in .NET.
The BlackWasp has posted a good article on Getting the Current User’s Login Name.

ZenHabits is very good at doing organization posts. Actually, they devote every Monday to productivity and organization. They have a post this week that contains Twenty Organization Tools.
Dumb Little Man has posted 30 Ways to Transform Your Career. This post has a ton of great links to productivity sites.

Sports, Entertainment and Everything Else

This is great. I hear the It’s not a bug, it’s a feature line at work all the time.
The new season of Heroes is a short month away. Here is the Primetime Season 2 Trailer as well as a special promo. I can’t wait.
Looks like one of my favorite movie directors – Kevin Smith will be directing episodes of two of my favorite series’ – Battlestar Galactica and Heroes-Origins.
